Peter Wright will be the man in charge when the Cobblers visit Swansea City host  in their Carabao Cup first-round tie on Tuesday. 

The man from Liverpool was promoted to the National List of Referees in the summer of 2018, After excelling in the National League and being awarded the 2018 play-off semi-final between Tranmere and Ebbsfleet, he took charge of his first League Two match in August of that year.

In total last season, Wright took charge of 23 matches, handing out 75 yellow cards and three reds.

His last Cobblers game was in Sky Bet League One on 1st May 2021 where the Blackpool visited Sixfields where they beat us 3-0. 

He will be assisted by Sam Ogles and Dean Treleaven. Farai Hallam will be the fourth official for Tuesday nights game.
