The month of July saw the aftermath of the play off final. On the 2nd of July our Retained list was announced. Which saw 14 players leave the club. Including David Cornell and Andy Williams.

There was some good news that came as Manager Keith Curle signed a new 2 year contract on the 6th July.

The new contracts kept coming as on July 10th July Micael Harriman signed a new 2 year contract. Along with all the back room staff Colin West, Goalkeeping Coach Dan Watson and Chief Scout Simon Tracey. Later on in the week Sam Hoskins also signed a new 2 year contract.

On July 19th the end of season awards was revealed.

The Grosvenor Casino Player of the Season – Charlie Goode

The Intercounty Academy Player of the Season – Haydn Price

The Grange Mortgages Ladies Player of the Season – Sara Wait

The Cube Disability Player of the Season – Daniel Chamberlin

The Sixfields Travel Club Away Player of the Season – Charlie Goode

The T3 Signs Goal of the Season – Chris Lines v Morecambe

On 26th July the new 20/21 away kit was revealed.

And also the following day Keith Curle made his first addition of the summer, Christopher Missilou

August the first saw our brand new 2020/21 home kit launched.

This month also saw the Cobblers loose another ex-cobbler Garry Knibbs.

August also saw the Cobblers welcome Johnathan Mitchell on loan from Derby.

Keith also secured the signing of Joseph Mills

The next newly at the Cobblers was central defender Fraser Horsfall.

It was also confirmed that the Cobblers would host Cardiff City In the first round of the Cararbo Cup.

On the 19th of August Captin Charlie Goode left the club for an Undisclosed fee.
