February started with a Sky Bet League Two trip Moss Rose v Macclesfield Town and Callum Morton’s goal gave the Cobblers all 3 points on the road!
The 4th February a day to remember that’s where 4,442 Cobblers fans travelled to Pride Park to see the Cobblers take on Derby County in the Fa Cup Fourth Round Reply for a chance to play Manchester United in Round five of the Competition. It didn’t go to plan and Our FA Cup campaign came to an end.

The Cobblers had to nominee for January’s Player/ Manger of the month awards, but unfortunately fell short.

The Cobblers returned to League two action on the 8th of February where Port Vale visited the PTS Academy Stadium.

However, these stats didn’t help the Cobblers on this day as they lost by Worrals goal for Port Vale. Which gave the Cobblers their first league defeat of 2020.

The 11th OF Feb saw league leaders Swindon Town Travel to the PTS Academy Stadium. A game which saw former Cobbler Michel Warner visit his old club, and Andy Williams make his 900th professional appearance. However it wasn’t to be again for the Cobblers as jordan Lyden’s header was the difference.

On the 15th of Feb the Cobblers took on Walsall at Banks’s Stadium. After leading 2-0 in the first half thanks to 2 goals from Callum Morton Warsall had got the game back to a 2-2 draw however in the 93rd minute it got even worse for the Cobblers as Holden scored for the hosts and allowed them to take all3 points.
22nd of feb saw Exeter City visit the PTS Academy Stadium. Where in the first few minutes of the game the Cobblers took the lead, Vadaine showed good strength and chests the ball down in the area before firing a powerful strike past Ward. It got even better in. The second half as the Cobblers were awarded with a penalty and Super Sammy Hoskins scored. Game, Set, Match and the Cobblers took all 3 points.

Tuesday night under the lights as the Cobblers took a trip to the Jonny Rock Stadium on 25th of February. After 1 change for the Cobblers as Michael Harriman replaced Vadaine Oliver. The Cobblers were hoping for the same. However it didn’t end like that after another late winner by the opposition. Cheltenham scored in the 85th Minute to secure their 3 points.
The Cobblers next trip was a trip to Blundell Park where they faced Grimsby, where the Cobblers easily got the victory. As Goode scored in the 9th minute and Callum Morton got 2 goals to secure the Cobblers win. What a fantastic way to end February.
