Korboa, who can play out wide or as a central striker, has signed for the Cobblers after a successful pre-season spent with the club.

Korboa scored 15 times for Carshalton in 2018/19 and won five of the club’s seven player of the year awards, and added a further 16 goals before the 2019/20 season was cut short because of COVID-19. He joined Sutton United in July 2021.

Attacking midfield player who rejoined Sutton in January 2018 from Stevenage, he originally joined U’s in summer 2011 after being released by Leyton Orient, where he had been reserve team captain, and went on to score 24 goals in 105 games over the next two seasons, winning the Supporters’ Club Player of the Year award in his first season and earning recognition at England C level. He joined Welling in 2013 and subsequently earned a move into the Football League with Peterborough the following year. He spent the 2016-17 campaign with Northampton before joining Stevenage at the start of the following season. His seventeen goals from midfield two seasons ago earned him a clean sweep of the club player of the year awards for which he was eligible, and having scored his 50th goal for the club at the end of October he passed the 250 appearance mark in April. He has been named in the National League Team of the Season in each of the last two seasons.

Rob Scott

As a player, Scott played as a defender from 1992 until 2008, starting his career with Sutton United. He notably played in the Football League for Sheffield United, Northampton Town, Fulham, Rotherham United, Oldham Athletic and Macclesfield Town. He would play anywhere and try his best whether he was right wing or centre forward. He had a great long throw, he was quick and was one of my main players when Fulham got promoted – he also chipped in with useful goals. Rob was a top professional and never gave me any trouble.”

— His former boss at Fulham, Micky Adams, speaking in November 2011.

He also played for Scarborough and Carlisle United on loan, and finished his career in 2008 with non-League club Halifax Town.
