Sam Hoskins joined the club on trial in 2015, before signing his first contract. He first man in over 20 years hit 300 games for the club and only the 15th ever.

In August 2015 Sam joined the Cobblers where he still is today in 2021 so far he has made 232 appearances scoring 36 goals. 

His first Cobblers appearance came in a 1-0 win at Bristol Rovers in August 2015, He replaced goalscorer John-Joe O’Toole after 73 minutes at the Memorial Stadium.

His first Cobblers goal came one game later in a 3-0 victory over Blackpool in the Capital One Cup. 

Hoskins’ first league start came on Tuesday night at Barnet in August 2015 when Cobblers were beaten 2-0.

His First League goal game in September 2015 at Sixfields when Oxford United where the visitors. Nicky Adams’ pinpoint cross found Sam Hoskins, whose bullet header gave the home side the lead and the 3 points for the Cobblers. 

Sam Hoskins scored the promotion goal in 2015/16 season, in the 2-2 draw  with Bristol Rovers. 

In his first season with the Cobblers, He scored eight goals in 42 appearances as Cobblers stormed to the title.

Sam has been managed by Seven different mangers at the Cobblers. 

Hoskins netted his 50th goal for the club against Harrogate in April 2022 as he enjoyed his best scoring season with 13 goals.
