Another Cobblers legend joins Jon Brady’s coaching staff, Wembley winning skipper Ray Warburton joins on a voluntary basis.
The popular former defender, who captained the Cobblers to victory in the 1997 Division 3 Play Off Final, made 169 appearances for the club between 1994 and 1998, and is now helping Jon Brady, Marc Richards and Ian Sampson out on a voluntary basis.
“Ray is a club legend who loves the club and is held in very high esteem,” said Jon Brady.
“We have had him in and around training and I have found from playing with Ray and having him as my assistant at Brackley, he is an insprational guy and when he talks, people listen.
“I have brought him in to have a look, to help us and to have an input.
“He is a good friend of mine and a good friend of Sammo’s so he is a good person to have with us.”
