A Saturday afternoon game at the County Ground in Dickson four. The Cobblers saw a small crows of 5,352. The game saw the Cobblers make 2 changes from the side that beat Scunthorpe 1-0 three days prior. Chard returns and Charlie Henry on loan from Swindon makes his debut and McGoldrick and Mann make way.

Referee Mr M Scott awarded the Cobblers a penalty on the 17th minute of the game after Kimble appeared to handle the ball in the area. Gilbert stepped up and busted it into the goal.

The second goal of the game came before half time and for the Cobblers as Hill burst into the Cobblers penalty area and scored from close range. 

The referee had a busy game after booking Morley and Logan of the Cobblers and Smith of Cambridge. But also awarded the Cobblers another penalty on the 86th minute as Morley was shoved in the back by Smith, Gilbert converted.

The game finished 3-0 to the Cobblers, which gave us an amazing 14 point lead at the top of the fourth Division.
