The Cobblers side saw no changes from the side that beat Leeds 2-1 a week prior. The game didn’t start as well as the Cobblers would of hoped as Nottingham took the lead after just six minutes, Crowe drew Branston and passed to Baker who scored.
The Cobblers soon equalised as within 16 minutes the score was level again as Martin beat Grummett to a Foley free kick, the Cobbler’s striker back heading into the net.
The Cobblers started the second half well as within 4 minutes of the half, Lines cross was headed home by Moore and gave the Cobblers a 2-1 advantage.
A quick throw in by Baker saw Storey-Moore cut in and saw Nottingham equalise. Another goal came from the Visitors as Barnwell’s shot was blocked by Harvey but Baker was on hand to net the rebound.
The Cobblers did equalise in the final minutes as on the 89th minute Kurila netted the equaliser in the dying seconds of the game.
