A Saturday afternoon trip to Boundary Park which saw a crowd of 4,752. The Cobblers side saw 3 changes from the 1-0 loss to Gillingham a week before with Rain, Howey and Lee coming in for Speeding Howey and Seal.

Referee Graham Laws put three players into the boom Rickers and Allott for Oldham and Peer for the Cobblers. The game saw the first Cobblers goal come in 370 minutes with the Cobblers only having 6 shots all the game the goal didn’t look likely.

However the goal came as Corazzin’s shot was handled by Garnett and Corazzin converted the penalty himself. Ian Atkins said ‘Best game of the season’. Opposition manager Andy Ritchie said ‘As far as I am concerned this was not a performance by my team’.
