A Saturday afternoon game at Sixfeilds saw Kerry Dixon’sDoncaster as the visitors. A Crowd of 4,577 saw the Cobblers beat Doncaster 2-0.

The Cobblers side saw 3 changes from Tuesdays 2-1 draft to Colchester in the area semi final of the league Trophy. Gibb, Cooper and Grayson all came in for Gayle, Hunter and Martin.

Mr Richards from Preston was the main in  the middle for this fixture, which saw 3 bookings. Weaver and Cunningham were both booked for the opposition. Frain was the only player booked for the Cobblers. 

The first goal of the game came in the 12th minute of the game as Sampson laid back a Maddison free kick to Cooper  who fired home. 

The second and final goal came before half time as Cooper weaved through the Doncaster defence passed to Grayson who outpaced Weaver to score.
