A Saturday afternoon trip to Brunton Park in Division 3. The Cobblers side saw 3 changes from the Side that beat Lincoln 3-1 a week prior. Burns returns at Harmon’s expense. Lee Colkin replaces Smith who has returned to Sudbury.

Lee Colkin played in a facemask to protect his injured cheekbone. 

Both of the home sides goals came in the first half, the first as Walling sent a looping header over Ovendale. The second as Walling beat Ovendale again with a near post headed after the keeper was caught out of position. 

The Cobblers did manage to get a goal, Martin powered home a poor Mountfield clearance. Referee Mr Breen booked Grayson and Thompson for the Cobblers.
