Northampton Town have signed striker Benny Ashley-Seal from Wolves for an undisclosed fee

.The 21 year old forward was in the Norwich City Academy and in 2015 was named by The Guardian as one of the young Premier League talents to look out for alongside the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold. He signed for Wolves in 2017 and made his debut for the Molineux club the following August.

He signed a new three and a half year contract in January 2019 and joined Portuguese LigaPro side Famalicão on loan. After scoring 14 goals in half a season for the Wolves under 23 side in 2019/20, including a hat-trick against Carlisle United in the EFL Trophy, he joined Accrington Stanley on loan at the end of January 2020, making 5 appearances before football was suspended because of COVID-19.

Ashley-Seal has signed a 2 year contract with the club.
