Jamie came to Northampton after an unhappy time in Holland with Ultrecht where he made just one appearance.
He firstly had a loan spell at Walsall that came to Nothing then joined the Cobblers where he netted six goals in ten games at the tail end of the season they won promotion to league two.
Jamie was bought for a record fee at the time and despite the club struggling over the next two seasons the goals still flowed for Jamie however the arrival of new manager Terry Fenwick saw Jamie moved on to Hull to ‘reduce the wage bill’.
Today Jamie runs a soccer school in Lincoln and played for Lincoln United and Lincoln Moorland railway before retiring and setting up a business called community Business solutions helping businesses to save money on their energy Bills. He also coaches youngsters.
