Emily Heaslip has been appointed to referee Northampton Town’s League Two trip to Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.

Heaslip will be assisted by Paul Stonier and Alex Gray, while Richard Aspinall will be the fourth official.

Meet the Referee

Heaslip has refereed two matches so far during the 2026/27 season, with both appointments coming in League Two.

Her first game of the campaign came on 15 August, when Walsall recorded a 3-0 victory away at Gillingham. Heaslip showed six yellow cards during the contest.

Her second appointment came on 29 August as Newport County and Tranmere Rovers played out a 2-2 draw. Four yellow cards were shown.

Across her two matches this season, Heaslip has therefore shown 10 yellow cards and no reds, averaging five yellow cards per game.

Saturday’s fixture will be the first time Heaslip has refereed the Cobblers.
